Structural Analysis
Vorticity has developed considerable expertise in the use of the LS-DYNA code to simulate a wide variety of structural problems.
These structural problems include airbag system impacts on rock strewn planetary surfaces, the deformation of inflatable structures used for aerocapture and aerodynamic deceleration, and the crushing of a probe used to deliver an experimental package to Jupiter’s moon Europa during high speed impact with the icy surface.
